For children from approximately 7 years and older, depending on physical readiness. The flute is one of the most expressive and lyrical instruments in the orchestra. Its warm, singing tone can carry a melody above the ensemble or blend beautifully within it. Learning the flute teaches children to listen deeply, breathe with intention and shape sound with sensitivity. Lessons focus on building a beautiful, relaxed tone from the very beginning. Students learn how breath becomes sound, how posture supports freedom, and how technique allows music to flow naturally. Alongside reading music and developing coordination, children are encouraged to play musically from their very first notes.
